Nut Bars

Ahh nut bars. Sometimes I feel there are perhaps too many nut bars in my life, but at lease these ones are yummy and dont cause too much trouble. Infact these are super easy, keep well and are a very healthy high protein snack. I much prefer these to the overpriced granola bars packed with sugar and fillers. It really only takes 20 min tops to make enough for the month, so If you're serious about your health or just want a good protein bar that doesnt taste like cardboard, take the plunge.

I mix a bunch of my favourite nuts, dried fruit, hemp hearts, oats, coconut, etc. with just enough honey to stick together. Roll out about 1" thick with parchment underneath on a baking sheet and toast until golden. Cut into bars with an oiled knife then dip in dark chocolate if desired. Om nom nom.

I reccomend super foods and antioxidants such as:

Brazil nuts

Hemp hearts

Coconut

Oats

Goji berries

Cranberries (unsweetened)

Honey!!! My favourite ingredient in the world.
